Micro Blaster Machine
A compact, production-ready micro blasting system designed for controlled and repeatable removal of MgO insulation from mineral-insulated thermocouples prior to welding or inspection. The Micro Blaster combines ne media control, excellent operator visibility, and robust enclosure design to allow precise cleaning of conductor tips without damage. Fine-tipped blasting nozzles and a large laminated safety viewing window provide clear visibility of the blasting process at all times.
Two independent 1-litre media containers provide a total of 2 litres of blast media, allowing rapid changeover between media types. A sapphire crystal nozzle is used for ne blasting with 100-micron media on small-diameter cables, while a tungsten carbide nozzle supports higher-throughput blasting with 200-micron media for larger cable sizes.
Controlled bursts of ultrasonic energy are transmitted through the sheath wall, returning the MgO to a powder state and allowing a clean, repeatable stripped section to be produced.Ultrasonic power delivery is digitally generated and controlled, ensuring consistent amplitude, frequency stability, and repeatability across cable sizes from 1.0 mm to 8.0 mm. Programmable operating parameters allow recipes to be stored and recalled, reducing operator dependency and supporting consistent production results.The system is supplied as a stand-alone tabletop generator paired with a compact stripping head, allowing flexible integration into production environments. Continuous monitoring of operating parameters, temperature management, and integrated protection functions support reliable operation during sustained duty cycles.
